Eligibility Criteria for MBBS admission in india

You can pursue MBBS India, if you are:

  • Neet Aspirant belonging to Open Category must secure minimum 50% ,reservation category must secure minimum 40% marks ,Person with disability in General category must secure minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.

After MBBS - 12 months compulsory rotatory INTERNSHIP


To complete the MBBS degree , it is required that candidates complete their one-year rotatory internship. Temporary Registration from the medical council is required to do internship. This temporary registration is valid only for one year, and allows the person to practice only at the hospitals attached with the medical college from he/she have completed their MBBS course. During internship period, emphasis will be provided with a hands-on experience in medical world. They will learn how to build relations with patients and make them comfortable. The postings will keep on changing at intervals.You can do your internship from other places and hospitals other than your college. The only stipulation is that the place where you go to has to be NMC (National Medical Commission) authorized for pursuing Compulsory Rotatory Internship.

Internship areas include Medicine , Community Medicine, Surgery including Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Welfare Planning,Paediatric, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Casualty.

Doctors need to be registered to National medical commission NMC in individual state, where he/she wants to practice in legal manner and want to apply for jobs in Government or Private Hostpitals / Clinics.
